- Plan and implement sales and marketing activities to meet company targets for retention growth and profitability
- Provide leadership for the daily operations of the Sales Department, while maintaining a focus on the company’s goals
- Establish performance goals for Sales Department employees and monitor performances on a continual basis
- Oversee all hiring, training and performance management of departmental staff
- Work collaboratively with management to review, analyze and recommend operational changes
- Provide feedback and direction related to performance targets, campaigns, promotions, incentives, and overall compensation
- Ensure the needs of the customers are successfully met in order to meet the overall objectives of the department
- Conduct analyzes of sales performance, productivity and quality results ensuring a constant flow of information within the division
- Review, monitor and recommend budgeting and staffing needs
- Establish and ensure collaborative relationships with customers
- Create for review commission and incentive plans that are tied to the overall objectives of the division
- Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems
- Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments
- Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS in business and/or scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years experience building, leading/managing a successful sales team
- Proven expertise in sales, management, operations, account management/development, and contracting required
- Good experience and expertise in leading organizations and driving difficult organizational change
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple competing priorities

- Strong technical sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it
- Ability to conceptualize and teach sales principles and practices
