1) Monitor competitor’s activities and assist in marketing intelligence
2) Manage selling to new, existing and prospective customers in line with the goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
3) Service existing business through management of client account base
4) Plan, develop and implement promotional strategies and marketing plans
5) Develop and maintain regular sales calls, meeting with principals of the target markets
6) Conduct market research and analysis
7) Enhance and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners
8) Recruit, train and build outside and inside sales team
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in business
2) Minimum 8+ years of business development experience in the professional services arena
3) Ability to interface with C-level executives, management and financial decision makers
4) Good strategic approach to selling and closing complex transactions in a B2B environment
5) Strong relationship-management and teamwork skills
6) Excellent energy and high-level business development leadership skills
